Haddonfield, NJ – February 4, 2021 – Downtown Haddonfield appears as a backdrop location for several scenes in the Lifetime original movie Death Saved My Life, airing exclusively on Lifetime on Saturday, February 13 at 8 p.m.

From November through mid-December 2020, the quaint streets and thoroughfares of Downtown Haddonfield were transformed into a stage for the feature film. Producers, actors, and a television crew descended on the historic town, filming scenes along its picturesque sidewalks and buildings.

The historic town was chosen as a backdrop for the film because of its charming, small-town appeal and unbeatable scenic features. The idea to film in Haddonfield originated from a 2018 tour – hosted by the Partnership for Haddonfield and its PR agency Suasion Communications Group – which was attended by New Jersey Motion Picture and TV Commission Executive Director Steven Gorelick.

“Haddonfield is a very charming and beautiful town, just ideal for the movies. The architecture has a timeless quality to it, making Haddonfield a perfect example of small-town America,” said Gorelick. “That’s the very look that the producer of Death Saved My Life was seeking, and I am certain that many other movies and television programs will soon follow,” he explained.

After its premiere on February 13, Death Saved My Life will continue to run on Lifetime network regularly, garnering repeat national exposure for the Downtown.

“We are so grateful for this wonderful opportunity to showcase our picturesque Downtown to a nationwide audience,” said Haddonfield Mayor Neal Rochford. “We were more than happy to accommodate the request to feature our Downtown in this feature film, and assist in any way we could,” he added.

Gorelick added, “The cooperation from Haddonfield officials and residents was terrific.”
