Clayton is another South Jersey town with historical ties to the glass industry. Dating back to 1850, mumerous glass factories emerged in Clayton over the years. One-third of Clayton’s land is dedicated to parks and recreation. Locations include the NJ State Wildlife Management Area, Scotland Run, Autumn Pasquale Memorial Park, Robert Sandelier Memorial Park, Taylor Bell Fields, and DJ Bentz Memorial Soccer Complex. Signature town events include Christmas Village, Fall Festival, Arts & Oddities, Clayton Day, and Food Truck Festival.
