About The Haddon Fortnightly:

The Haddon Fortnightly is a civic and social club for women, and a member of both the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs (NJSFWC) and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC). The Fortnightly was organized in 1894 by a group of twelve women who felt a lack of cultural opportunities in the area, and decided to establish a “center for promotion of educational, literary and social interests in the community.” The Haddon Fortnightly is a well-known and respected organization throughout the State of New Jersey, and has served its community for over 120 years.
