Cedarvale Winery

About Cedarvale Winery:

Cedarvale Winery is a family-owned and operated winery located in Swedesboro of Gloucester County, New Jersey, run by 4th generation farmer, enologist, and viticulturist Ed Gaventa and tasting room and events manager, Marsha Gaventa. Cedarvale’s story began on a fruit and vegetable farm filled with peaches, nectarines, strawberries, watermelon, sweet corn, cantaloupes and more. In 2004, the owners began growing grapes, and the transformation began shortly after. The farm was put in Farmland Preservation, which funded the building and necessary equipment for a winery. The farm turned vineyard has evolved into 8 acres of grapes, several acres of soybeans, and a rustic winery. Cedarvale wines quickly became recognized as award-winning, and continue to improve with new blends made from hand-picked fruit crafted in small batches. Visitors are welcome to take tours, talk with the winemaker, and enjoy special events and wine trail weekends.
